The principle part of this new network--incredibly high speeds of transfer--sounds awesome but I don't like this idea of entrusting information to be mostly non-local. At the very least give me the ability to keep information locally for my own purposes. Since this is still a wired-technology it still has some of the disadvantages of any physical infrastructure. So what's this going to cost? Is it even available for people like you and me?
